2 Icons. 1 Epic Event...The Blockbuster of 2017!

The Dealmaker Summit is the event of the year! On December 8th, two industry titans will share their insights on the real estate market from different perspectives; the first industry icon is the legendary Stephen Siegel, one of the top dealmakers in the history of New York City, having brokered some of the most interesting transactions including representing L’Oréal on its 407,000-square-foot headquarters relocation to the Related Company’s 10 Hudson Yards and closing the biggest transaction in the history of the Trump organization at the time - Gucci Group’s lease at Trump Tower in Manhattan. 

Mr. Siegel also moonlights as a real estate investor as one of the four partners who run's Fairstead Capital, a multifamily investment firm that has purchased over $2 Billion of multifamily properties and over 5,000 units. Major transactions include the purchase of the $690 Million Dollar Caiola multifamily portfolio in partnership with Blackstone and the $315 million purchase of Savoy Park in 2016. Mr. Siegel has been plying his trade in New York City for the past five decades and is still at the top of his game. Like fine wine, he gets better with age. 

The Second industry icon is the one and only R. Donahue Peebles, he bought his first office building in Washington DC at the tender age of 25 (he had never even bought a home or apartment at the time) and since then, has been building office, condo and luxury developments throughout the country; from Miami, to Boston, San Francisco, Washington DC and New York City. Cumulatively he has a $5 billion real estate portfolio and is currently doing a $400 million redevelopment of the Clock Tower in TriBeCa in partnership with the Elad Group. According to Forbes, Mr. Peebles has a net worth of $700 million and at this rate seems poised to be a billionaire in the near future. He is often mentioned as a mayoral candidate but we will have to wait another 4 years to find out if he decides to run. Mr. Peebles is a frequent guest on CNBC, CNN, Fox, Fox Business where he shares his insights from everything from Snap Inc., IPO to why he thinks the current GOP tax bill will be "catastrophic" for New York City real estate.
